BBQ Deck
A BBQ deck was constructed in 2009 with BBQ supplied for use by Yard users.
Supplied to all hard-stand sites; normal usage is included in storage rates.
Go down to the bottom of Franklin Street and turn right. Go through the Opua Marina with the breakwater on your port side. From the southern side of the marina proceed directly ahead to our sign posted facility. We can fax/email Ashby's Jetty plan to you.

BOATBUILDER - Casual
A position has become available in our Opua Boatyard for a Casual Boatbuilder
for a short term,
with longer term possibilities if workload permits.
The successful applicant must have:
- practical skills in fibreglass and wooden boatbuilding
- skills in repairs and maintenance
- up to date knowledge of product and application
- the ability to fit into different roles within the workplace
The position requires the employee to:
- be able to work effectively in a team environment
- be able to work under pressure
- have attention to detail
- have a flexible approach to workload.
